Varsity Nine partners with Clip90
Our new partnership will bring individual match footage, highlights and performance statistics to players across Varsity Nine and Soccer Assist, with Clip90 also becoming a title partner of the Next Wave Championship.
Every match gives a player the chance to improve, demonstrate their ability and take another step forward. Our new partnership with Clip90 will help make those moments count long after the final whistle.
We are bringing Clip90’s video analysis service across our US Scholarship programmes, including all Soccer Assist clients, and our domestic and international academies. Every showcase and competitive match featuring Varsity Nine players or teams will be broken down into individual player actions, producing a comprehensive video pack alongside key event statistics.
The partnership also extends to the Next Wave Championship, where Clip90 will become a title partner and deliver the service across all 72 fixtures.
A fuller picture of every performance
A goal or an assist can catch the eye, but a player’s contribution runs far deeper. The pass that starts an attack, the interception that prevents a chance and the decisions made under pressure all help tell the story of a performance.
Through Clip90, players will receive footage covering all their individual actions, alongside selected highlights and key event statistics. Successful contributions, possession losses and unsuccessful duels will all form part of that picture, giving players and coaches specific moments to review together.
For our academy players, this will support more focused feedback and development conversations. It will also build a record of performances over time, helping players recognise progress and understand where they need to improve.
Building stronger profiles for more elite opportunities
Helping players develop is central to what we do. So is helping the right people see their ability.
For players pursuing a US scholarship through Varsity Nine or Soccer Assist, clear, well-organised footage is an important part of the recruitment process. College coaches need to understand how a player performs, how they could fit into their programme and what they might bring to their team.
This partnership will give our recruitment team a growing bank of individual footage and performance information to build stronger player profiles. Across our domestic and international academies, the same approach will help us present players to clubs, scouts and coaches with greater depth and context.
By making the analysis process more efficient, we can spend more time using those insights to support each player’s next step.

The Next Wave Championship was created to give players meaningful competitive opportunities as they work towards senior football. Our partnership with Clip90 adds another important layer to that experience.
Across all 72 fixtures, individual clips and key event statistics will help players and clubs take more from every game. Alongside the competition’s match centres and player profiles, this will create a richer record of performance for coaches, scouts and players to explore.
It is part of our wider ambition for Next Wave: a competition that responds to the needs of clubs while putting player development and progression at its centre.
